This episode was recorded in December, and it was based on some inconvenient truths that came up when I was preparing content about being a confident lightworker. Developing confidence is not an easy path, and it takes a lot of courage to step into this work. If you are not someone who does readings or serves the public, this episode will give you some insight into how vulnerable it is to show up in this way.

Hopefully, you all had a good start to the new year and feel hopeful for 2023. What I have to say around February may bring you some inspiration and bring you hope and clarity on where the world of Spirit sees us moving our attention and energy next.

I know so many of you out there want to be able to share all the things that you know. So, I feel very much that Spirit's encouraging us to give ourselves a bit more space to figure these things out, see where we land, and really get clear on the intention of the ripple effect that we want to create in the future and for our future selves.

In today’s episode, I am sharing a channelled class and philosophy from the last round of The Initiation about mediumship as an art. The live classes in my intimate development experiences are in response to the questions and conversations happening in the community. Part of the reason I’ve taught this mediumship foundations program so many times is that it’s different every round!

I’ve been ready for 2023 to come and I’m excited to bring you the January spirit messages! I say that these are collective messages with a disclaimer that I am not intending to speak on the behalf of 8 billion people on this planet. This is Spirit's way, and my spirit's way, of bringing forward information that I feel will resonate with a lot of people who are regular listeners and who will be drawn to listen to this. I believe Spirit will attract you as a listener to different episodes at different times, and you will hear something that will resonate with you when you need it.

I couldn't wait to record this episode because all month it's just been coming in so, so clear that when we feel into the energy of January, we are being asked to start looking to our future selves. This is very powerful because I know from being in the intuitive mediumship and spiritual development journey, that there's so much healing that has to take place to be able to step fully and confidently into our paths as lightworkers.

I was asked by a few people for some personal updates, so I decided to record an episode to talk about the major events and challenges in 2022. I’m giving it a 3.5 star review - WHAT the hell was that?! I haven’t recorded the spirit messages yet, but I want to share what Spirit has been inspiring me with for 2023 as well. I now have some clarity on what the focus will be looking towards the future.

This week, I am talking about “sitting with spirit” as part of my personal development practice. I talked about this in the episode about making time for your development, but this episode will be more in-depth. I am going to lead you through a guided visualization experience as an example of one way I sit with spirit. Even though I was aware of mediumship for most of my life, my development path didn’t start until my first mediumship connection. Sitting in the power is a foundational part of the Spiritualist tradition and teachings, but as I’ve mentioned before, it wasn’t sustainable for me. I need more flexibility in my practice, which is how I started sitting with spirit.

This week, I am having a conversation with my dear friend Michael Mayo. He is a medium, the founder of the Oakbridge Institute, and the author of a new book, Spirit Speaks. Michael shares that he wanted his book to have everything someone needs to begin their mediumship development journey. He talked about how mediumship is more about allowing yourself to receive than technique and shared his thoughts on the differences between UK and US mediumship standards. One of the things that came out of this conversation was a shared agreement that we need more genuine sharing and accessibility for mediumship because it can benefit everyone.

I said more than once in the episode how energizing it was to have this conversation about mediumship! This is one of the benefits of being in community while doing this work.

In the Spirit School Collective, my monthly membership, we will be doing our FIRST online Psychic Fair on December 10th! You will be able to register for a reading very soon. I had so much fun doing these in my development, and I can’t wait! In addition to my practice circles, Stacee Magee (Spirit Fluent) who you met in a recent episode, will be teaching a Medical Intuition workshop in the Collective as a guest mentor in December. One of my clients, Alesha, will be teaching about the feminine this month too! As if that isn’t enough, the Spirit School Collective members will also have a five day giveaway in December!

In 2014 I was daydreaming about what could be possible for me as a medium. At this time, I was in my first two years of development under a mentor I adored who had a cute ocean-front studio - and I wondered, “could this even be possible for me?”

This week’s guest, Stacee Magee, is TikTok famous for her incredible medical intuitive abilities. She has shared herself authentically on the platform and attracted many spiritual humans to follow her journey. I have been following her for quite awhile and we have become good friends. I’ve had three sessions with Stacee and am amazed by her accuracy! She will be teaching a medical intuitive intensive next year, so be sure to follow her if you’re interested in learning.

Stacy has many talents and abilities, so we only scratched the surface in this interview. From medical intuition to tattoo placements, the conversations we could have are endless! Stacee will be back on Spirit School to talk about her book on birthmarks next, in another episode.

I’ve been under the weather this week, so the November spirit messages may feel a bit different than the past few months that were more channeled. I want to thank you for your solidarity in response to my last episode on the shadowy side of spiritual business. I received so many messages, including people who had a similar experience with the same podcaster, and others who agreed it was time to bring these issues to light. Scorpio season was perfect timing and I want to thank you for complimenting my vulnerability. If you are drawn to that aspect of my work, there is probably part of you who desires to show up in a similar way.

November is going to be an exciting month in Spirit School! In the Collective, we will have practice circles and a Q&A on death doula work with me. Sara Rose will also be teaching about Human Design in the membership, and there will be weekly opportunities to practice as always. In the free Spirit School space, we will be doing a five-day experience, The Confident Lightworker, that you are welcome to join whether you are practicing or not! This will take place the week of November 21st.

We are in Scorpio season, which I love! Today’s episode will touch on the shadow side of being a spiritual entrepreneur. It is based on a question I received in the Spirit School Collective, my monthly membership, for a Business Q&A session.

Most of what I share about my business is the exciting parts of the journey. There are metrics to show that my business is successful. but I am also nine years into my journey. In addition to the magic that happens, there are parts of it that are not so positive. I’ve been thinking a lot about the dichotomy we experience where we are thriving in one part of life, while consistently struggling in another. In this episode, I am sharing some of the challenging and painful experiences on my entrepreneurship path to give a more balanced perspective on what it has entailed.

The question asked was, “I consider you successful as a business sister. You speak and do a lot of things that are very generous, and I know deeply you are a giving soul. How has that generosity of yourself healing sister wounds by supporting other women in their businesses impacted you? And what is the return of spiritual energy for you?”

The Spirit School Lecture Series highlights my live teachings in the areas of mediumship, spiritual and personal development, entrepreneurship, and quality of life. Today’s episode was adapted from a monthly Q&A session in my free Spirit School space in September. I have really enjoyed doing my live conversations in that community in place of Instagram! As I have said many times, I teach from my own experiences, and I am flexible in my beliefs. I invite you to take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

This conversation covered topics such as receiving more messages in mediumship readings, open versus closed eyes, and being an indirect messenger.

This episode is based on a philosophy that I received from Spirit a couple rounds ago in The Initiation. I remember the world of Spirit coming through so strong and saying, “You need to remind them that we respond to their declarations.” So much of this work is about declarations, and it was an impactful message to deliver.

This kind of inspired speaking feels so much more powerful than a mediumship link to me. There's just something about my spirit waking up when I speak about certain things, even in classes and mentorship sessions. The physical sensations and the emotional sensations that I get to experience every time I teach or record a podcast are so beautiful that I hope everyone in their lives gets to experience it at some point.

I can definitely feel my spirit lifting and raising and expanding every time I speak something that I feel like my soul and my spirit really needs to speak. I believe that sometimes it is a combination of my spirit helpers on the other side inspiring me. In this episode, I share some recent experiences that demonstrate these philosophies.

September has been a big month for Spirit School! We are two weeks into The Initiation, which was my biggest launch so far. In the Spirit School Collective, my trauma-informed business coach joined us to have conversations around holding space for grief and managing our energy as lightworkers. We also restructured to allow weekly classes with me to combine teachings, practice and Q+A sessions. They have been very expansive and a reflection of the month of creation I had in September.

Today’s episode is about consistency, values and recognizing the contraction before expansion in my business. This conversation was originally an Instagram Live video. I've been asked many times for book recommendations and I finally had time to put together a list. These have impacted my mediumship development, quenched my thirst in my nerdiness around mediumship and historical mediumship, or cracked my heart open.

I have been wanting to share one of my personal healers, Lynn Tucknies of Inner Hero Healing, with you for a long time. I was referred to Lynn through a friend and had sessions for 10 months. I will be resuming weekly sessions and having Lynn work with my son again too! We were waiting until she went full-time into her healing career to do this interview, and the time has come! Since teaching a class on the Emotion Code in the Spirit School Collective, many of my students have had amazing experiences working with Lynn. I am so happy to share her with you through the podcast!
