Danielle's Indigenous reconnection journey begins with a visit to Tsleil-Waututh territory. At a group reading, she comes face-to-face with the widow of the mentor who unlocked Danielle’s path forward to becoming the spirit worker she is today.

A reading with a fitness trainer grieving the loss of her dad prompts Danielle to confront her own father. As Danielle and her dad heal old wounds, she must decide whether she is ready for him to see her work as a medium for the first time.
Season 1, Episode 3
Danielle travels to Sts’ailes territory to read for a client who was visited by Sasquatch in her dreams. Taking to the water, Danielle deepens her understanding of Sasquatch’s Indigenous roots and learns about spirit helpers on the other side.
Season 1, Episode 4
A house call to an eccentric “Miracle Shop” in Vancouver, and a reading with an old mentor, invite Danielle to confront the ghosts of her childhood and ultimately recognize the healing power of community and chosen family.
Season 1, Episode 5
A challenging reading with a skeptic and an emotionally charged group session force Danielle to confront her inner people-pleaser and remember the importance of rest and renewal.
Season 1, Episode 6
Rooted in ceremony. Danielle reads for a grieving Indigenous woman, then travels to K’ómoks territory for a community group reading.
Season 1, Episode 7
Second chances. After some challenging readings, Danielle reflects on herself and her brother, who has battled addiction for many years.

Walking in a good way. A visit to a former residential school makes Danielle consider breaking generational trauma for her and her children.
Season 1, Episode 9
The call home. After discovering a community of local Swampy Cree women, Danielle begins a journey guided by a sacred gift.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, August 18, 2026 – Wapanatahk Media, a Vancouver-based Indigenous female-led production company, is proud to celebrate the launch of its new docuseries, Squamish Medium. The 10-episode series follows psychic medium Danielle Searancke as she uses her gift as a clairsentient – connecting with the spirit world through feeling – to deliver messages from loved ones who have passed. Through these deeply personal connections, Danielle helps people navigate grief, find comfort, and move forward on their healing journeys. At the same time, Danielle is embarking on her own journey of reconnection, balancing personal growth and self-discovery with the demands of a rapidly growing business. Squamish Medium will premiere September 14, 2026 in English on APTN at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.
The series takes its name from Squamish, B.C., where Danielle resides and is connected to the community she supports. After making the life-changing decision to leave an unfulfilling career as a health administrator, Danielle embraced her calling as a psychic medium whose life’s purpose is to help people heal. Now as the Squamish Medium, Danielle has built a successful career as a medium, teacher, mentor and founder of North America’s first Spirit School, an online learning and community platform that provides courses, mentorship, live gatherings, and resources designed to help members deepen their spiritual practice and strengthen their connection to mediumship and intuition. Danielle has built a dedicated following, with reading appointments regularly selling out and waitlists extending for months.
