Mapping Wellness: Exploring Your Mind-Body Compass with Will

ONLINE CLASS – SPIRIT SCHOOL COLLECTIVE

Free for Collective Members (Membership | $150/Month)

Monday, November 10
5:00pm PST / 8:00pm EST

True wellness is more than just physical health; it’s how your mind, body, and energy work together to support clarity, resilience, and connection. In this interactive workshop, we’ll use the Wellness Compass, a visual tool I’ve developed as part of my doctoral training in Mind-Body Medicine. While this is not official research, the compass reflects evidence-based principles from psychophysiology, mind-body medicine, and my ongoing dissertation work on intuition and adaptability.

Participants will map their own wellness across five domains: nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, energy balance, intuitive sensing, and self-trust. By plotting these on the compass, you’ll gain a clear picture of your current strengths and growth areas. We’ll then explore together how building awareness in these domains creates a stronger foundation for intuitive clarity and overall well-being.

This workshop, while optional, is interactive: participants can choose to complete their own compass assessment, reflect on their results in small groups, and learn practical tools to strengthen their wellness map. By the end, you’ll walk away with both a personal snapshot of your inner landscape and tangible strategies for bringing more balance and clarity into your life.

About Your Facilitator:

Will McDonald is a PhD student in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University, specializing in Applied Psychophysiology. His research focuses on how stress shapes intuition and how energetic awareness can enhance adaptability, resilience, and decision-making. Drawing on his background as a journalist, personal trainer, wellness coach, and energy worker, and informed by his own recovery from severe substance addiction, Will bridges science and lived experience to make complex ideas accessible, practical, and even healing.

His mission is to show that intuition isn’t mystical but an innate, trainable skill, and to create supportive spaces where people can explore the healing power of awareness, regulation, and authentic connection.
